Five years ago, on 15th February 2013, a 10,000 tonne meteorite exploded over the Russian city of Chelyabinsk. Some pieces of this giant rock from Space, and other meteorites, are on display in the Ulster Museum but curator and meteorite expert Dr Mike Simms will bring out some others from the museum’s collections for you to handle and admire. If you have a meteorite yourself, or think you have found one, then bring it along for Mike to take a look at.
