The Centre for Cancer Research & Cell Biology (CCRCB) Public Open Day on Saturday 17 February 2018 celebrates a decade of advances in Cancer Research in Belfast. There will be two sessions - one starting at 10.30am and the second at 12.30pm. Our leading researchers will present an overview of the Centre and explain what is needed to develop new cancer treatments - from basic biology to clinical trials. ‘Behind the scenes’ tours will provide an opportunity to view our laboratories and meet our research teams. Information stands will include clinical trials, the NI Biobank, cancer prevention and our local charity funders. A range of interactive activities will ensure that all the family can engage in this exciting and informative event.
