The self-driving cars, trucks and vans of the future are already here. How will these new forms of transport affect the towns and countryside we live in? How will this new technology change the way in which we carry out our everyday activities? How might patterns of working and shopping change? Improved road safety and increased mobility may be the upside of these changes but will we need new rules of the road, new cyber safety standards and new models of vehicle ownership? This presentation from the Institution of Engineering and Technology will look at some of these issues.
