Aislinn Cassidy is a local artist from Derry, a graduate in microbiology and teacher in the final year of her Fine Art degree at Ulster University. She uses a broad range of approaches in her work focusing mainly on installation, video art and photography. Her work, having scientific, artistic and poetic value, offers viewers an opportunity to reflect upon the beauty and wonder of nature. This exhibition showcases Aislinn’s experimental artworks with plant biology, chemistry and art. It will explore, visually and scientifically, hydroponics and fluid uptake in flowers and plants.
