Museum of the Moon is an amazing new touring artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram. Measuring seven metres in diameter, the inflated moon features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. At an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the spherical sculpture represents 5km of the moon’s surface. This spectacular installation is internally lit and is accompanied by a musical composition which has been especially created by BAFTA and Ivor Novello award-winning composer Dan Jones. This will be a unique opportunity, for young and old, to experience the moon close up in an exquisite, three-dimensional way!
