Curated in collaboration with Rachel Steinberg, Director of SOHO20 Gallery, Brooklyn, the Naughton Gallery at Queen’s University Belfast presents an international group exhibition by contemporary artists interested in how Science Fiction relates to the body. Where does a body
end and a piece of technology begin? What does it mean to have a body as it relates to consciousness? Can we synthesise the metrics of experiencing a body? All of these questions are challenged through artworks which explore cyborgs, artificial intelligence and alien life. This exhibition has been generously supported by British Council Northern Ireland.
